SediCon Highlights in 2018

As 2018 is coming to an end, we want to share with you what made this year remarkable:

New General Director:

This August, Pål Figenschou became part of our team as a General Director at SediCon.

First installation in Panama:

SediCon did the first installation of a SediCon Dredge “La Arenita” at Paso Ancho HPP in Panama.

New subsidiary:

In order to offer a better service to our Colombian clients, we have established a subsidiary in Colombia, SediCon Colombia S.A.S.

Frog Dredge finds a new home:

A new contract was achieved in Guatemala, Xacbal reservoir is the home of Frog Dredge which served in many other reservoirs in Central America.

First supply in Africa:

After several years, we are glad to announce that we supplied our first equipment in Africa and installation at Rubagabaga HPP is expected for next year.

SediCon Competence Development Program:

As part of our SediCon Competence Development Program, Javier Zamora finished his Master Program in Hydropower Development at NTNU and Isabel Mora started her Master Program in Environmental Engineering at ETH Zürich.

Our first contract in Mexico:

To close this year’s review, December started with a new contract in Mexico where we are providing a solution for handling sediments in a desander, more news about it will come in following months.
